[BiturboS4] rust on stock rotors

hi all,

sorry for not getting back to a few of you on your questions regarding
potholes, etc.. I have been away from civilizaion and will respond to
those questions soon!

Since my s4 has been sitting idle for a few weeks, outside, in the cold,
snowy, bleak winter of new england, my rotors have collected a
considerable amount of rust or oxidation.  Usually after a few days of
driving the horrible scraping noise goes away.  But this time it seem
EXTRA bad.  Is there anything that can be done to fix this (w/o turning my
rotors), and is there anything that can be done to prevent this from
happening in the future?
