[BiturboS4] 2002 S-CAR Nationals

Hi everyone,

Just a quick reminder for everyone.  The registration is open for the
'02 Nationals and space IS limited so I strongly urge everyone to
register today and reserve your hotel rooms.  I promise you'll have as
much fun at the Nationals as is legally possible.  ;-)  Even if you live
on the east or west coasts feel free to attend.  If you have to fly in,
we can likely arrange for your transport during the weekend so you won't
need to rent a car.  The idea for holding this event was born out of the
intense fun that many of us had during the 1999 Monterey Historic Auto
Races.  Any time you can get a big group of Audi enthusiast friends
together it is a great time.  Put some faces with those screen names.

Anyhow... back to business!   Hotel reservations can be made by calling
the Minnetonka Marriott.  We've secured a special room rate of $89 per
night for the weekend (beginning Friday, 8/30/02).  Reservations can be
made by calling Marriott reservations at (800)-228-9290 or by calling
the hotel directly at (952)-935-5500.

Finally, before I leave you I'd like to announce that this year we're
going to try our best to have fun AND do something for a worthy cause.
Our goal this year is to raise as much money as possible for the
Children's Cancer Research Fund.  Once we cover event costs, 100% of the
remaining funds will be donated to the charity fund.  Lots of other car
club do things like this but the Audi group seems to be a little behind
the curve.  Let's show them we've got cool cars AND some good hearts.
