Audi has a recent history of denying warranty service and generally not
backing up thier warranty when major problems develop. It's clearly
prevalent in the Northeast, but it's also clear that this is a corporate
philosophy pushed down into the dealership level.
In my family, 2 lemon A8s, and then (because of the A8s, as retribution) they
denied me all warranty service on my S4 "because I race." No, I never race,
but I AM an Audi Quattro Club (ACCNA) instructor. I'm thinking about suing,
but I really don't have the time. Instead my family purchased Lexuses and
BMWs to replace my parents cars and I may yet dump the S4. I love the
products, but hate the company. Our stories are NOT uncommon.
A true VW and Audi lover who will probably NEVER buy another VAG product in
my lifetime.
