[BiturboS4] Blown Turbos (Non-Chipped S4) - Update

I'm not a lawyer, but I've watched a lot of lawyers on TV :)

John, what you got was some good fortune. Audi had no legal duty to cover
your turbos -- they did you a favor and you should be *very* thankful. Their
responsibilities end when the warranty runs out.

Just because they did you a favor, doesn't mean they are now legally
required to replicate this favor, they can simply change their minds.

These cars are going to potentially be *expensive* to keep running after the
warranty. It's not that things go wrong incredibly often, but when they do
it's insanely expensive to fix them. This bodes really poorly for long-term
resale value, just like it has for many previous Audi versions, IMO. Turbos?
$7k, Clutch? $2k?, Tranny? I've heard as much as $18k.

Not exactly. I am an example of Audi honoring a blown turbo warranty
slightly outside of the official warranty (on a previous car). Audi must be
consistent. If they honor a slight extension for one, they should for all
under similar circumstances. I think there is a legal argument. Wally?
