[BiturboS4] Blown Turbos (Non-Chipped S4) - Update

Yes...and Audi took the ALL into cosideration when
they decided to DISCONTINUE the bi-turbo platform for
the S4.
IMO...this was not mere coincidence...Audi knows that
the current S4 bi-turbo platform has inherent
defects...they lucky people...have them happen BEFORE
THE WARRANTY PERIOD ends.
Like I said before, since I am ONLY 2k mi passed the
warranty expiration - I am looking for Audi USA to
make an exception...since this problem could have
happened 3k mi ago and I would have been well within
my warranty dealine..it was just LUCK of the DRAW in
my case.
Many manufacturers will take how long after warranty
that a defect appears when they decide to offer a post
warranty claim. Like I said in my previous email...the
dealer was willing to to GO 50/50 WITH ME BASED ON THE
SYMPTOMS I DESCRIBED OVER THE PHONE! The car WAS NOT
IN THEIR POSSESSION. So, in my FEEBLE MIND...THIS
MEANS THAT AUDI ACKNOLWEDGES THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM
THAT HAS BEEN EXPERIENCED BY PURCHASERS OF THIS MODEL
OR ELSE THEY WOULD HAVE TOLD ME TO "POUND SAND!"
I said that I would not accept any deal without
further discussion and the involvement of Audi USA. I
noticed that many posters on Audi World with this
problem - took that route.
My only aftermkt mod was a pair of Stratmosphere DVs -
my ECU has thrown NO VAG Codes - according to AWE
(www.AWE.com) - who gave me their professional
assessment that my turbo(s) were blown. BTW, this
local Audi dealer has dealt with AWE..so I suspect
that they respect AWE's opinion.
