I've driven a few different six speeds, each had a very-very-very different
feel. For the longest time, I couldn't believe the box was a Getrag! (Coming
from a background with 5 of my own BMW's) My clutch was replaced about 1400
miles ago and I'm back on the stock shifter. I've been told the car shifts
so heavy because of the "double synchro" and "linkage". I've also been told
that a driveline stabilizer would work wonders on the directness of the
shift. Wouldn't that be nice? :) My one big and only real complaint about
the car from the moment I took it home.

I rate the car highly, but hold AoA Customer Care in contempt of its
customer (me!).
