Carter,
Thanks for the feedabck.
Thank god - I am past that point with the dealer.
The are replacing the turbos and my real concern was
whether I am getting the upgraded turbos or not.
One of the other listers (Kjos) had a similar turbo
problem under warranty and had his replaced. He was
KIND enough to check his invoice, and the part nbrs
that I was given by Audi, match the part nbrs on his
invoice.
His S4 is MY 2001, and mine is MY 2000.
But, I am still expecting a phone call from AoA as
confirmation too - since I placed the car before Kjos
gave me his info offline.
At this point, I want to see if AoA FOLLOWS UP from a
CUSTOMER SERVICE perspective.
To be honest, I had problems with my E36 M3, and Volvo
850R, before purchasing the S4. If I had to rank each
company in terms of customer service, I would rate
them as follows:
BMW
Audi
Volvo (this was prior to FORD's ownership - CS was so
unresponsive - I won't even consider giving them my
$$$$)

JY, whether you have OEM clamps or twist-ties or
whatever on the BPV hoses makes no difference. Don't
let Audi make that as an excuse. As long as the hose
is clamped down on the tube, no pressure is escaping.
Tell them you took out your BPVs once to inspect
them...and you put them back with a different clamp.
That's not illegal!
