[BiturboS4] S4 Blown Turbos - Update - Audi's Preliminary Diagnosis

I just scheduled a visit with the dealer (I just hit 15,000 miles on my
01 S4 avant) to get some minor little annoyances looked at.  anyway, I
want to get the oil changed and the service guy said they do that every
10,000 miles!  that's crazy especially for a turbo car.  so that could
definitely cause these turbos to fail.   audi's fault too.  I'll be
going to get my oil changed on my own in between audi dealer visits
because I can't believe they recommend 10,000 miles.

any thoughts on this?  I'm having my girlfriend take in the audi so
hopefully she can ;-) get the oil changed too....
