Audi has always recommended rotating the tires on the same side
for all its cars, and I go along with that.  It is probably tire-specific,
but I think even on non-directional tires, the tread blocks tend to
"take a set" to spin in a preferred direction.  Reversing that may
actually accelerate wear.
