[Biturbos4] Winter Tire Help - why two sets of wheels?

My wife's A4 Avant came with the sport package including the 17" wheels
(highly recommended, although the Bridgestones that came with it have no
tread life).  For winter I bought her a set of 15" A4 replicas with Yokohama
Guardex tires because she doesn't tend to drive the car all that
aggressively anyway and I really like the way the Guardex tires handle snow
and ice, although they aren't all that wonderful on dry pavement and they
are rather noisy.  But I can do the changeover myself and I just have to
remember not to fling the car into corners like I do during the summer -
although the ESP helps.

For my S4 I'm swapping tires on the same wheels, at least for now.  When I
wear out my summer tires I hope to get a set of 18" RS4 replicas and keep
the 17s for winter use.  But for now I take the tires to my local Discount
Tire to be swapped.  Maybe it's because I bought all the tires there, but so
far they've never charged me to swap them!
