Ti, the trip computer is always optimistic. An easy way to find out for sure
is to fill up again at the gas station and see how many gallons you put back
in. Then, take your miles driven and divide by the amount of gallons you put
back in. That seems to be more accurate (and about 2mpg less than the
computer). Still at 29mpg, that's pretty darn good.
