Yes, IIRC, the changes you're referring to went into production near the
end of 2000, for the late 2001 models.

Did the turbo change coincide with elimination of the F-hose?

According to my dealer, B5 S4 production was concluded in 9/01. My 2002
S4 has a build date of 6/01.
