Have you got a vag-com tool and a pressurized brake bleeder?
If not take it to the dealer and have em bleed the brakes for you. They
pressurize the master cylinder to 2 bar (it's important here, 2 bar not
just 1), and put the ABS/ESP into diag mode and do constant activation for
each corner while bleeding. That gets all the air outa the system and
purges the lines. Unfortunately they can't do this with motul because it's
a big audi tool with a tank of DOT4 brake fluid in it that does the
pressurizing. You could later bleed the system with motul 600 using the
normal methods.
I've seen this problem and this bleeding method usually cures it.
