[Biturbos4] Spark Plug change interval

Hi
Perhaps I can shed some light on the 40k question.
The service handbook for my (UK spec) 99 S4 Avant says 40k miles for the
plug change. I changed them myself at 35k as I felt from previous
experience with performance cars that 40k was too long. However, I was
wrong; the plugs still looked good as new. The real pain came when I had to
pay for the replacements...

factory-recommended change interval for all V6 engines is 32k, 64k, etc.,
but it's also fair to say that some maintenance intervals may have been
spec'ed differently at different times. Also, the intervals may change from
one model year to the next. Not sure where the 40k interval may have come
from, but I don't doubt it has been published that way.
