[Biturbos4] Oil in boost tubes and intermittent misfires

First of all thank you for the feedback on the "switched from dino to synth -
lifter prob?" question I posed a few weeks ago. Based on those responses I
feel quite comfortable staying with the synthetic and gaining the benefits over
dino.

There were two items on my "hit list" to have addressed before my factory
warranty expires on my 2001.5 S4 with 49600 miles ...

1) Is oil in the boost tubes a bad sign? What does this condition indicate?

2) I was told that my intermittent misfire codes were common and can be ignored
unless the condition persists. Is this true? I thought I would perform a few
high boost runs before taking it in in hopes of recreating the problem again
(they cleared the codes the first time).

Thanks in advance for allowing me to tap into the "collective wisdom" this list
provides!
