[Biturbos4] Idle Warming Up Question

In my opinon, the A-pillar boost gauge is the best looking and best placed
of the options available.

For the A-pillar pod, go to Supreme Power Parts:
http://www.supremepower.com/
They make a custom A-pillar that fits in place of the old one - OEM fabric
and all. Looks stellar. $325.

For the boost gauge, pay the extra to get an Omori (either 52mm or 60mm)
instead of the VDO gauge. I got mine from AWE (www.awe-tuning.com) for $150.
They look much better and have nice OEM-matched red backlight and
OEM-match white needles. The numbers and degredations are easier to read
too.

I have this setup and love it. Took about 1 hour to install...but could
probably do it a second time in 30 minutes. All you do is pop out the stock
A-pillar, put in the SPP pod with Omori gauge inserted, wire the backlight
just down to the fuse box, and feed a rubber vaccuum hose through the
firewall (passage already exists) and out through the ECU housing and into
the engine bay where you just have to splice an existing vacuum hose.
Simple!

Of course, some people don't like to spend ~$500 for a boost gauge so you
can go cheaper with a center vent or cheaper A-pillar. But why ruin a
stellar Audi interior?

Cal.
