My S4 has / had a few problems as well.

Santa Monica Audi

out of pocket repairs:
-blown turbo hose at about 10k (dealer did not fix under warranty
because they said it was due to outside influence) $40 part, $800 to
replace it
-broken tranny mount at about 10K (dealer did not fix under warranty
because they said it was due to outside influence) $50 part, $400 to
replace it
-tranny occasionally shifts hard at the wrong time, usually when going
uphil of the freeway. harsh enough to feel like the tranny just fell
out. (dealer found no code so no fix)
- AOA was no help here either. they said try another dealer.

Van Nuys Keys Audi

-leaky headlight washer system (warranty).
-missing pixels in the dashboard display (warranty)
-warped brake rotors at every oil change (10k, 15k, 20k) miles (warranty)
-blown turbos at 24k (warranty)
-blown turbos at 25K (warranty but had to fight)
-loose driver's side rear door window frame (warranty)
-headlights changing their aim randomly (warranty)
-ash tray stuck closed due to putting coins in it (dealer fixed for free)
-radio went out (warranty)
-freon leak (warranty)
-blower fan was noisy at low speed (warranty)

lots of other misc things too. I love the car, but in the 10 months I've
had it it's been in service for at least 3 months. What a deal!
