ah crap! should i just keep the sho and continue the
search for a suitable replacement?

this stuff flat out sucks. i feel for you guys. all
the below listed stuff just sounds like the dealer is
a jackass. i NEVER go to dealers. hate 'em like the
plague.

so many more competent independent wrenches. half the
price too.

the blown turbos worry me though. why did that happen?

honestly, your experiences only go to show me that
extended warranties and dealers in fact suck. the
warranty seems to only be a way to corner you into a
situation where you have no choice but to go to the
dealer. then they say your part is not covered under
warranty. BUT, they already have your car torn down,
so you better pay the cost to fix it.

i can't fix anything. but, i'm pretty good at research
what's wrong first. so the mechanic can't charge you 3
hours of time to diagnose the problem.

i try to find a good indy wrench. AND, join a car club
for your model in your area. this way, you can find
enthusiasts who are also gearheads. many more than
willing to fix your car in exchange for cash (far
cheaper than the dealer) or favors. dinner, beer,
wine, strippers (kidding ;-)

see ya,
Robby
