[Biturbos4] rear suspension clearance

It happens at speed, Rich.

When you get going, the tires flare out from centrepital force. Ever watch a
dragster do a burnout? Suddenly that tiny few milimeters of clearance you
have is gone and the tire is rubbing.

Don't pay attention to the stated size of the tire, go by the actual
dimensions, specifically the section width. Some 225/45/17's will NOT fit on
an S4. Every tire maker makes different sizes for that aspect ratio. It can
vary by a half inch or more, and we don't have a half inch of clearance
there. I've run 235/45/17 Bridgestone S03's with no problems, S02's the
same. But Yokahoma AVSi's? 235/40 wouldn't even fit.

Check out the exact specifications ... tirerack has them listed for a lot of
tires. Possibly yours.
