Hmm, that makes sense - I was cruising across the NV desert at speeds
higher than i generally do commuting ;) ..kinda begs the question tho,
at what speed does the problem begin...tough to find that out 'cept thru
a little trial and error testing it would seem...

Yeah, my tires are listed there and they're actually smaller than the
SO3s you mentioned in 'section width' and the same in 'overall diameter'.
Unless my tires are more prone to flare out, it would seem like the SO3s
in the size you listed will be susceptible to the same problem...
