hehee.
I've driven a 95(ish) S6 Avant, as well as worked on one.
It was fun. I don't know how to describe it other than it was subtle until
you realized it was no longer being subtle and that you were actually
hauling ass.
And that was stock. I've driven one with a porsche (??) turbo retrofitted
onto it (supposedly was very easy, did it in the parking lot) and ran 23
psi of boost. It hauled seeeerious ass and still is driven as a daily
commuter to this day, 5 years later.
The S6 did not feel like a new car, but it felt better than anything else
that was 10 years old. I would be thrilled to have that as a daily driver.
Good luck tearing one free from the grasp of whoever owns them right now
though, I can't imagine finding one from anything but a fool or someone
who has something big broken and can't afford to fix it.
