Are you playing fast and loose with the word "replacements," or does the rule about not replacing the transmission housing only apply to the race itself?

Also, one of the R10s actually did get a transmission 'overhaul' (new guts in the original case) during the race, no?

During pre-race warm up both cars received transmission replacements because the No. 7 car exhibited problems, and it was decided that both cars get new transmissions as a preventative measure.
