[Biturbos4] Thermostat and Headlights

Minor update:

I checked the headlamps Thurs evening and both seemed to be the same color/brightness, so I saw no reason to snag one from you, Alan; but thanks for the offer! But what I did for the sake of brevity is pick up a couple of "cheaper" bulbs locally to see if the situation improved (on John's recommendation went with 5k color).

Didn't really help. It did not seem to improve the distance illumination, but it does seem to be brighter immediately below the nose (like, 45 degrees down and forward, so not really useful). I'm guessing it's my lenses then...My lenses are not clouded, but they have a lot of fine pitting from road rash. I'll take Robert's advice and get some of the acrylic polish...maybe I'll get motivated today...

As for the thermostat, nothing new on that. The behavior confirms my diagnosis, but since my garage is unavailable I'm on hold. It's not really creating a major problem, just a bit of inconvenience, so I think it can last for a while. Worst case I guess I'm a little uncomfortable as it heats up slowly, and I'm probably using more fuel due to it being colder than it needs to.
