[Biturbos4] LOW VOLTAGE CONDITION ?

Replaced my alternator recently, but I already had things apart to do the serpentime belt
and tensioner.
Even so, I thought the alternator was a bitch. Not saying it can't be done (obviously it
can!), but that must be one clever guy. Don't forget to disconnect the battery!

P.S. I don't know about 2001, but there seem to be several applications for 2000. Try to
be sure you're getting the right one!

Alternator and/or voltage regulator. The regulator is integral to the alternator and
likely not replaceable independently--at least not cost effectively. I would get this fix
ASAP-- I had exactly the same symptoms and the car lasted about two days before the
battery was shot and I was dead on the roadside. You may find the busted alternator has
fried the battery--that's what happened to me.

A good wrench may be able to replace the alternator with only the belly pan off; mind did.
