[Biturbos4] Time to Move On...

I've been driving the 2000 S4 now for eleven years now. Been a great
car, nowhere NEAR the troubles that their reputation provokes. Hell,
the car has 140k miles and I'm still on the original turbos! I think
it's all about how you treat 'em, and this one has lived the good
life, like a pampered pet dog.

But, last couple days I'm been hearing some squeaking from the
steering, sounds like at the bottom of the column, and then suddenly
last night I saw a growing puddle of fluid under the car. I gave it a
quick lookover, and it tastes Pentosin-like. A quick Google search
reveals I may very well need a power steering rack. And a quick call
to my favorite repair shop reveals that this is very likely not going
to happen. I've given thought to turning this into a project car, but
I just don't have the time, motivation, and priorities for this; I
need a dependable bit of transportation.

Anyone want to buy a very good baseline project car...?

It's soon due for the timing belt (I personally did it at 75k) so when
you factor that in, and then consider I'm way overdue for turbos, it's
looking like it's time to replace the car. Too bad, it's still a nice
car. To its credit, however, this is the first major bump in the road,
it's been great to me, so this car owes me nothing.

In addition to this I've got a complete, new-in-box uninstalled
turbo-back APR exhaust still sitting in my garage attic, if you know
of anyone that may want it. Paid ~$2300 for it, I'll listen to
reasonable offers. I've also got a new unused APR front snubber mount
for it, and if someone wants to swap out ECUs I've got the APR ECU
with stock, 93 octane, and 100 octane programs. Also have the APR
bi-pipes installed, but I don't know that I have the motivation to
swap those out at a reasonable price. In the end I'd much prefer if
someone simply came by and made me a killer offer for the whole thing;
I'll even give you whatever Pentosin I have left on the shelf to get
you home (it's not leaking terribly, in fact the level looks barely
low right now, and it just started leaking yesterday). Also comes with
another set of wheels with winter tires plus some more stuff.

It's been a great ride, that car was truly a dream car for me in 2000,
and I have no regrets at all. I'll certainly miss it.
