Mike,

If you have ever removed the service carrier, then its just going a bit 
further. If you have not, its a bit of a daunting task the first time 
especially fighting with the front bumper.

Drain coolant  (already done anyway to remove service carrier), if possible 
just move the carrier out five or six inches on the passenger side, if you 
keep the drivers side closer than three inches out, you will not have to 
unclip the six connectors  (possibly only the AC high pressure switch 
connector). If you decide to do the timing belt at this time, its really 
worth it to just remove everything in front.

Remove hard pipe from the intercooler to intake manifold, then the accessory 
belt, and the passenger side timing belt covers, one has three bolts, one 
has clips.

The thermostat housing has two bolts holding it....make sure you get a new 
o-ring !! and make sure you use a torque wrench when tightening the two 
bolts  (trust me, do not overtighten by more than 10 %)
