You should be ok, just brake early and be very adamant not to get carried away. Last time there I smoked the brakes off the GMP A5 on the first day (slicks and waaay aggressive pads, we were doing brake torture testing) and spent the second day braking gently and early and still had plenty of fun. Got 380mm Brembo's now, that won't be happening again!
Just in case it might change your mind I think I'll be running a 10% off Carbotech brake pads leading up the event with free track side delivery ;-).
