[Es2] Big Brakes

Know anyone who's done that?
I think the 200q20v hubs are slightly larger in diameter than the urs4
hubs, and slightly thinner. Might want to measure both.
If you are using a monoblock caliper, you'd then need to either get
custom mounting brackets, or custom rotor hats, both costing more than
the off-the-shelf solutions.
Again, I don't know if the larger diameter and thinner front hubs will
make a difference; measure and see. I seem to recall for the 200q20v,
standard G60 rotors don't fit over the hubs due to the larger diameter.
For the rear, urS4 hubs might work, if there is enough play in the
floating pad carrier. Wheel bearings the same size/style?

I think ive decided on the floating rotor set up. The hubs in front off
of the 200 20v and the rears off of a UR-S.

ECS are good guys. Make sure you know what you're doing for the 5 bolt
swap; I'm pretty sure the fitment varies from the S2 to the big cars
(100/200/urS4/S6). Think the hub thickness may be different, and with a
fixed caliper, that's pretty critical to center the caliper on the
rotor.

Thanks for the input i was looking at the ECS website and i think ill
give them a call this afternoon. There somewhat local to me which is
nice too.
The wiring is going well so far on the car. The engine side of the
harness is close to completion next is the interior part of the harness
and the start up :) Looking forward to driving the coupe again after
driving the Avants for two years.

My coupe has the S2 5-bolt hubs. I used the RS2 brackets to mount my
2000 Porsche Carrera calipers, over euro 314x30 A8 rotors. Barely fits
in my 16"
urS4 5-spoke wheels; really more brakes than you need. You should also
change the brake proportioning valve to fix the bias if you add
bigger/different brakes.
I'm in Massachusetts; you're welcome to see the car/test fit wheels.
