[Es2] changing EM with engine in car?

Hey guys, well since I have had no hands on in this project so far I really  
don't know much about the coupe and the clearances with the AAN. I bought the  
car from Andrew Jackson with a spun rod bearing and instead of trailering it  
here to do the work myself I just let the shop that he had used for the 
original  install re-install my bottom end and extras to be done with it faster. 
Well at  this point I wish I would have just done the work myself because its 
taking way  longer than I expected. Anyway my question is, can you get the 
exhaust manifold  off without taking the engine out? I have a tubular header coming 
but its going  to be a bit by the time I get it and have it jet hot coated I 
think they will  already have the engine in with the RS2 manifold on it. Let 
me know your  thoughts. Thanks,
