i have an engine i just pulled from my 87 4000 quattro last week. ran decent when i pulled it and didnt clatter. it pulls like the 115 horse beast that it is. im doing a turbo conversion and i simply just dont need any more engines taking up my garage space. im going to take stuff like the flywheel and clutch, maybe a couple sensors, coolant nipples, intake and mounts but the basic block head and internals will remain untouched. you can have the whole cis unit if you want it too. this motor isnt pretty but it ran well and started very well and would make a good replacement for a blown one. the only thing i would like in trade is a pair of rear door handles for my 87 4000 cs quattro. email if your interested.
