PICTURES.
This is an Audi Quattro from the days of rally racing. This unique one has a 20v turbo engine transplanted from a '91 200, relatively simple conversion with mostly factory parts. The result is a sweet classic Audi with an OEM EFI system that gives reliability and lots of power. During the conversion I fully rebuilt and upgraded the engine, no expense spared: updated bearings and bushings, polished pistons, RS2 exhaust manifold and MAF, K26/27 hybrid turbo, custom oil cooler and a huge 2Bennett intercooler.
The car itself includes lots of modifications to improve performance: 2Bennett coilovers with externally adjustable Koni shocks, all new busings and tie rods, StopTech 335mm brakes and vented rear rotors, 17" BBS wheels, Recaro SRD seats, Schroth 4-point belts, European headlights, smoked taillights and a custom 3" exhaust. All together the car goes, turns and stops great with less than 10K miles on it since all of this works has been done. It runs on track with the S4s, Evos and STIs. On the street it frightens grandmothers and every street racer wants a taste.
There are some details left to take care of on this car. The paint is bad and needs to be redone. The body is solid with galvanized fenders but a few dents need filling. The A/C was removed and the 20v steering wheel is intact but pretty heavily worn. The odometer stopped at 156K miles a few years ago. I've rebuilt or replaced all of the wear items, so the miles really aren't an issue. It has a K&N cone air filter on it which adds greatly to the engine sounds, but it's less than ideal for heat intake. Lastly, the stereo was removed in favor of additional gauges. It's wired for an amp and there are speakers in it and actually some extra speaker holes in the back deck, but none of it is hooked up.
I hate to sell this car as I simply love her, but new projects demand attention and money. I have a bunch of spare parts that can go with the car, if the price is right. For a price I'm thinking $20K is very fair. I've got way more than that invested but go ahead and toss me your low-ball offers. For more details and pictures email.
