Description:
NO PICTURES.
For sale, my 1990 Audi 80 turbo quattro.
The car is currently running MC1 10VT engine from a 1988 Audi 5000, when the engine was installed it had 121,000 miles. The engine received a clean up/paint, new timing belt and tensioners, headgasket, valve cover gasket, and oil pan gasket. The MC1 is running the stock CIS injection system with a 12psi chip and an adjustable waste gate. I have always run royal purple oil since the swap.
The swap was very well detailed, with a typed laminated descriptions of all wiring from the 5000 harness, the 80 is also running a URQ airbox and igloo. Additionally all hoses and a new radiator were installed during the swap.
The interior was swapped with a nice condition black leather interior from a Audi 90 quattro.
The car has a generic boost gauge and an air fuel ratio gauge both installed to look factory.
Transmission has a reliable short throw shifter from Blizcat.
At the time of the swap the front A arm bushings were replaced along with the upper strut mounts, and a complete set KYB GR2 struts.
The 80 is running the stock dual pass intercooler from the 5000, it is installed behind the grill and the car looks close to stock from exterior.
The exhaust is also Stebro from the Cat back (running the stock 5000 cat and a modded 5000 down pipe, must pass emissions for tabs).
The 80 comes with two sets of wheels. The summer wheels are a set of very very rare TSWs that mimic the factory Ronal wheels, however they are 16" with brand new 225/40/ZR16 tires (can't remember the brand but there not the cheap ones). These are widest tires available for the B3 Audi quattros.
The Audi also comes with a set of 14" stock wheels with studless snow tires that work great for the mountain.
The headlights were upgraded to H4's using the all glass euro spec 90 headlights, and correct relays.
The car handles great and looks nice, the paint is Tornado Red and cleans up well with some spray on wax. This is a great example of a respectable looking older Audi that still turns heads.
The 80 is not perfect, the lower side modeling is missing (modeling on bottom of doors, but hardly noticeable), front bumper has some paint chips, fog lights are there but do not work (I haven't bothered with these it could just be blubs).
A small 200W apm was installed along with new Rockford Fosgate Punch speakers, and a new (forgot the brand) CD player. The car does not have a Subwoofer, it could be added but I didn't want to deal with loosing space for speakers.
The Audi comes with lots of extra parts, including but not limited too: core support (in Red), window regulators, switches, ISV valve, cap/rotors, German oil filters, and other parts I can't remember.
The Audi also may come with a full set of H&R springs and Koni struts (over $1000 of suspension) depending on sale price.
I should have pictures posted soon, of please send me an email if you want pics directly.
