boiling noise (2-nd)

Hi,

If you don't get the boiling while driving, I would expect a leaking
headgasket.
My brother's mazda showed symptoms which were alike. While driving
no-problem (nor when running idle), with engine shut off, boiling starts.

No sign of leaking head-gasket (compression ok, sparkplugs OK). Changing
the gasket solved teh problem.


When problems als appear while driving, or running idle after driving, I
would expect leaking coolant reservoir cap (if you use water instead of
coolant it happens faster ;-).
