Hmm, don't know about this statement.  Here is the hard and fast rule for being able to afford a Bentley:

Given: Your car will break down and require maintenence-(you should not have bought it otherwise)

C= Cost of the repair at the average dealer or mechanic
B= Cost of a Bently manual
A= The amount of money saved by buying a Bentley       (The Affordability Factor)(Typically a positive number)

so...

A = C - B 

In this scenario, where the cost of trouble shooting your electrical problems could cost a conservative $300, and the Bentley manual set costing $150...

A = $300 - $150

A = $150

   Thus, you can have your car up and running and still have $150 in your pocket, not bad eh?  And remember, this formula can only be applied once, the first time you use it.  There after, B = $0.
