6 Speed for 87cgt?

The car in question here is a CGT which normally comes with a type 093
manual transmission. To my knowledge there is no 6-speed version of
such. To adapt a different Audi transmission (6 speed or not) to it
would at the minimum require re-engineering the shift linkages and mounts,
and there are possibly also clearence issues with transmission tunnel,
exhaust pipework and other things.
