  Ok,
I'm a little confused. I thought that the early 90q's had the same caliper/carrier as the 4kq. And you cant bolt up a 5kt carrier to that strut. Does the 90q use the 5kt carrier bolt spacing and then a different carrier to mate the small caliper to the 10" rotor. Early 5kt's and ur-q's did this but they had the G-54 mounted on an 11" rotor, not a 10" rotor.

You can use the G60s on the '89 90q. I helped a buddy do this to his '88
90q. You just need the carriers and the calipers from either a 5k or
CQ. (Todd, yes, the CQ had G60s standard.)

WRT to leading vs. trailing edge and smaller piston vs. bigger piston,
well, I dunno about that one.

You are in a maze of little twisting passages, all different.
