Radiator upgrade for 80tq

Thanks for the tip, Javad. I too couldn't justify $800 for an all aluminum
radiator, so I'm using a stock 4kq one, which I thought had plastic end
caps. Using an 80C fan switch and thermostat, I never have a problem with
coolant temps on the street, but only when running high boost levels on
tight tracks in hot weather.

But, even with a large aftermarket oil cooler, I see 130C oil temps on the
street and higher on the track. I'll let the car cool down on the track if
the water temp gets much above 3/4 or the oil temp gets more than 1 led
above 130C (140C ?). In street driving, even when the oil temp hits 130C,
the water temp gauge never gets much above half and is often lower.

I'm definitely going to look into this radiator upgrade before going back to
the track next summer.

Thanks again,
Gary Kaklikian
