Honestly, i havent ever even been to the thing.
The dyno sheets are legit, they did most of the tests on bikes, but
he is making boxes for cars now too. Mike never went into great
detail about how it works, but its based on the theory that by making
the computer think that it is running richer, that it can advance the
timing more, therefore making more power. It seems sound, and of
course, who were we to pass up something that is free like that.
I can tell that after it was set up to work just off of idle, the
typical flat spot of the 30v V6 is COMPLETELY gone...it just takes
off...that much is nice... It does seem a bit better in the midrange,
but about the same in the very top end...whether it makes a
difference in real street driving i dont know, but on the track, if
it gives us an extra 100'th of a second, i will use it...
