those were the most important seals you should have had changed!!... sounds
like an incompetant shop! did you request for them to split the tranny and
change the seal between diff and final drive like i had done on mine? i
had my orig 110k mile tranny pulled, split open, and new final/diff seals put
on, and then all new synthetic ATF added in the automatic section, and
synthetic gear oil added in the diff section. i had this done last oct or
nov. now its at 114k and still shifting great, no leaks. and on straitaways
i sometimes run it hard ( 80-90mph for a long pd of time, on flat
straitaways, always with a gradual acceleration, and always with a cooldown
period afterwards) still shifts fine. Tho i do baby it from stops, easy on
the accel. (no burnouts! LOL) and after i shift from P or R into D, i always
wait for the trans to engage before accelerating.. this adds alot of life to
your tranny believe me..how you drive it.
sounds like your shop screwed you out of a tranny by not changing the most
important seal of all..
good luck with it..are you living in atlanta now? check out PAP down there,
they always got a bunch of audis theyre parting out.
