3 Questions - squealer in the front!

!!!????!!!!!

On deceleration my 200TQ has just started making this squeeling noise from
the front, a dry rubbing grinding sound as the engine/car speed slows down.

There is no noise if the clutch is depressed and it only occurs when in gear
and decelerating (am I repeating myself?)

I can't pinpoint the noise source but it's irritating as all get out.

This "rear seal" wouldn't require removal of the transmission would it???
