Wallace,

Safe for the ISV, carburator cleaner.

Safe for you, I don't know.

I just took mine off and sprayed it liberally, letting it soak and
respraying, until clean. It's amazing how much junk these things
accumulate. I then used a light spray lube to make it limber again. Works
just fine.

My Crankase hose (the metal one) was just about plugged, and required a good
reaming. The rubber one is new, as the old one had the consistancy of
chewing gum.

I would tend to do this stuff, vacuem lines, etc. while changing the air
filter and/or replacing injectors, as it makes sense to get everything
sorted out at one time.

Ben

Thanks, Ben. What's safe to use for cleaning an ISV?
