Just cleaned the ISV--except that I wouldn't say it needed cleaning. I
didn't notice any gunk in it or the rubber hoses it attaches to. And it
still has an '86 date code on it.
Another disappointment (of sorts) today was replacing the valve cover
gasket, to find that the old one was not cork and looked great. It
seemed like it was leaking a while ago and I've had the gasket sitting
around. At least I got to look at the cam and valves.
