This is indeed the most likely case.  Most other reasons will cause the
check engine light to come on at 0.8 bar or a some rpm value such as 1800
rpm -- bad air temp sensor, for instance.

Pulling the codes is so simple on a 5ktq I can't understand why we are
guessing at what the fault might be.
