Headlight flicker and BG44k

I had some headlight flickering that mimicked a failing charging system
while driving my '87 4000q. I was running an H1-H4 euro setup through two
30-amp relays with crimped connections. Needless to say, I toasted a relay
or two running 80-100w H4s and 100w H1s. This fall I replaced the two-bit
fuse holders with circuit breakers, soldered the connections and installed
70-amp relays. The flickering has ceased.
