4kq gearbox making noise...

I don't kno wif this has already been covered recently..
nut i just got done rebuilding my 4kq.. but the transmission 
is making a noise simiar to what reverse should sound like in 
lower gears..
i have only driven the car 10 miles or so and do have
redline shockproof gearoil in the transmission..
it would only hold right under 3 quarts... but i think this is 
correct..
is my used transmission hosed or could it just need to be 
driven some more since it sat for about a year..
