undoing those allen head bolts can be very tricky. be very very careful
to clean them out and not slip with your tool because if you chew up a
head on one, you'll have to drill it out (are you doing this in the
car?). That drilling operation *is not fun*. and then the worst part
comes - since most of the bolt is still there, the IM will have to slide
straight out from the head about 2" - and it can't because the EM is in
the way - so you have to pull it about 1/4" out, as far as it will go,
and cut the offending bolt with Mr. Sawzall.
BTDT on one bolt in both IM's I have pulled - donor from '84 and the one
it replaced on my '82. Although it was a major pita, nothing was harmed
in the process.
