Hmmm,
Car and Driver just did that in the Jan 2001 issue. A pretty nifty
repeatable mechanism to insta-deflate of the driver's rear tire (the
statistically most likely tire to fail for the Firestone tread
separation, accotding to the article.
End result?
No major instability, EVEN in an EXPLORER. Not convincing enough for a Q.
Too bad.
