Yes, Smitty also suggested this off-list.  I was thinking this too.

I guess if it happens more than once, or if it happens after the car 
is known to be warmed up, then I should worry about it further?

Or, maybe the proactive approach would be to test out the sensor 
somehow.  I haven't looked into this yet.  I have another question 
regarding the intake air temp sensor, which I will post separately.
