NAC Zone Alarm

More NAC, but I, like others, just _have_ to chime in.
As far as stupid software that tries to "phone home" as you say, it would
behoove everyone to check out the EULA (End User License Agreement) that
comes with just about every piece of software these days. In there,
software authors are _required_ to note whether or not their software
sends any information anywhere, or whether it is "adware" (ie. downloads
ads). Note, that not all people abide by this "rule". Also, upon
uninstalling said software, that adware and other stuff, yep, you guessed,
doesn't go away.

Caveat emptor, and mind what you download/install. I dig Zone Alarm as
well.
