cold starting & misc.

Has this problem just started since it has been cold, or has it been doing
it for some time. I had a similar problem with my 84 4ksq. Before
replacing anything, check the fuse for the computer. It is in the fuse box,
but unlabeled. If you have the Bentley Manual, there is a picture of where
it sits in the box. If you are standing on the drivers side of the car,
looking at the fuse box, it is the 3rd one to the right that is not
numbered. It's a 10A. If you're not sure, check each and every fuse. I
still don't know why Audi in their great wisdom decided to put in fuses and
then not label what they're for.

Hello all, looking for advice.

On my 1984 4ksq, it never wants to idle when cold. After it is run for a
bit it is excellent, idles well and all. I was wondering what I should
check or repair to get the cold start system working correctly. Here in
Montana it is pretty darn cold, recently highs in single digits and the
lows in the negative teens, pretty cold when you come from Seattle. Plus
the dealer service rates a bit lower here too.

Any advice on how to get open a door which doesn't open from either inside
or out? I don't think it is iced shut, but has some flaw with the opening
mechanism.

While I am thinking about it. The cruise doesn't work either. It took
awhile to remember this one, but the A/C doesn't work either. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Brad
